Hey guys, my first post. I've been wanting to join this family for some time but I never seem to have enough time, which doesn't make any sense as I'm retired. Oh well, I Look forward to checking out your great images. I was fortunate to be able to capture this reflection. I had recon'd this bog area the day before and new this was a perfect spot with numerous other compositions in this area. When I arrived in the morning the next day 90% of the water was frozen over, but the one area I really wanted to shoot was ice free. Sometimes Mother Nature is on your side.
Going stir crazy, too much rain and no photography so I'm posting this shot from Glacier National Park back in August.
Known by the locals as El Chalten "The Smoking Mountain", really lived up to is name. It generates its own atmosphere much like El Capitan in Yosemite, and appeared this way every day I was there.I've got to go back; Patagonia is magical especially when the fall colors arrive, there is no better show on earth. We left just as things were getting exciting and the colors were starting to change, so hopefully the next trip my timing will be better. But it is hard to complain with scenery like this
